A practical photo review workbook
Oopbuy QC: inspect the details, then ask better questions.
Use this independent Oopbuy QC photo review guide to organize what a photo shows, which measurements help compare fit and what still needs a question. Work through shoes, clothing, headwear and accessories with a practical checklist. Shopping links open CAFANS; this site does not inspect products or process orders.

Observe what the photos actually show
Listing images and item-specific photos do different jobs. A listing image usually represents a model or colourway and may be reused across many orders. An item-specific photo is meant to show the particular unit prepared for an order. Before you read much into any picture, check where it came from, what specification it is attached to and whether the order or item reference is visible.
This page does not claim that Oopbuy or CAFANS always provides a particular QC photo service. Treat a photo as evidence of what that one frame captured — nothing more.
- Shoes: compare both shoes side by side, the side profile, the sole edge and the outsole. Camera angle can change how a toe box looks.
- Hoodies: look at cuffs, hem and pocket placement.
- T-shirts: look at the neckline, stitching and visible fabric texture.
- Plain jersey tops: look at shoulder seams, armhole openings and hem finish.
- Colour: light source, white balance and your screen can each shift a colour. Never state a real colour code from a single photo.
Compare measurements and keep a record
Write things down while the photos are still open. Ticking a checklist only organises your questions; nothing here is submitted, stored or treated as a pass result.
- Confirm the item and selected specification.
- Check front, back and detail views.
- Compare measurements taken in the same way.
- Note visible details without guessing materials.
- List missing information.
- Prepare a specific follow-up question.
Print the QC notes template with six columns: item, selected specification, visible detail, measurement source, missing information and the question to ask. Outsole length never tells you the internal cavity of a shoe, and a bucket hat should always be checked against its labelled size, stated circumference and measuring method. Compare the fabric composition label with the product description line by line; a photo cannot prove fibre content or grams per square metre.
Ask for the information that is missing
- Could you show the outsole and both side profiles in similar lighting?
- Could you show the sleeve opening and hem laid flat?
- Could you provide the measurement method and a clear size reference?
- Could you show the bucket hat circumference measurement?
- Could you show the bracelet clasp open and closed?
- Could you clarify the fabric composition stated for this item?
Price, stock, shipping and return rules change. Check them with whoever is actually handling the transaction; nothing on this page substitutes for that.

Pre-purchase questions readers ask
What is this Oopbuy QC guide for?
It is a reading aid for photo review, not a service. It helps you organise what item photos show, which measurements to compare and which questions to ask before you buy.
Are listing photos the same as item-specific QC photos?
No. A listing photo is usually a studio or sample image that represents a model or colourway. An item-specific photo is meant to show the actual unit prepared for an order.
Can photos prove fabric or jewelry materials?
No. Images can show visible texture, stitching and hardware structure, but they cannot prove fibre composition, fabric weight or metal content.
Which measurements help compare clothing fit?
Chest width, shoulder width, body length, sleeve length, waist, rise and inseam are the usual comparison points, provided both items are measured the same way.
Why can colors look different between photos?
Lighting, white balance, camera processing and your screen can all shift how a colour appears. A single photo is not a colour reference.
What extra photos help with shoes, hats and bracelets?
For shoes, ask for the outsole and both side profiles in similar lighting. For hats, ask for the circumference measurement as taken. For bracelets, ask for the clasp open and closed.
Does oopbuyqc.beauty inspect products or process orders?
No. This is an independent information guide. There is no inspection desk, no order system and no photo upload here.
